One way I stay protected from bad sites is that I use a modified host file. In Vista and Windows 7 you cannot just open the file in notepad and save it anymore, you will get an error. Today I was planning on upgrading my work development machine to win 7, I already installed it at home and I like it much better than Vista.
So I have Vista x64 at work, the Dutch version. I have no idea why I ever chose the Dutch version for this machine but I did it and there is no turning back now. I made a mistake and I will have to suffer for it.
